Frequently Asked Questions

The Movement Specialist Program is a one-on-one, hands-on approach to retraining how your body moves after physical therapy.
It focuses on helping your body maintain and build on the changes created in PT, so you don’t gradually fall back into the same patterns over time.
-
This work builds on that by helping your body learn how to maintain those changes through improved movement patterns, control, and stability.
It’s a collaborative approach that works alongside your PT, not in place of it.
-
No.
Personal training focuses on strength, fitness, and performance.
This focuses on how your body is moving underneath that, so everything you’re already doing becomes more effective and better supported.
-
You’ll work one-on-one with your Movement Specialist for the entire session.
You’ll be guided through specific movement patterns with real-time cueing and hands-on adjustments, so you can actually feel and understand how your body should be moving.
The goal is not just to complete exercises, but to learn how to control and hold better positions so those patterns begin to stick.
-
This is a great fit if:
You’ve made progress in physical therapy and want to maintain it
Your body tends to fall back into the same patterns over time
You feel like something isn’t fully “clicking” yet in your movement
You want to feel more stable, supported, and in control of how you move

-
That depends on your body, your starting point, and how long your current patterns have been in place.
Many clients begin to notice meaningful changes within the first few sessions, especially in terms of body awareness and control.
From there, consistency helps those changes become more natural and automatic.
